What a harvest!

The only ripe strawberry that hadn't been nibbled - but look at the size of it! We also cut some rhubarb and made a crumble with custard. (Little Miss B's outfit looks a little odd as she decided she wanted to keep her comfy pyjama top on all day.)

Don't often watch football and I have to say I found it an unexciting game and it's a shame when it ends with penalty shoot-outs. Felt sorry for the young English lads who looked so forlorn after their failed attempts, but manager Gareth Southgate was as kind and comforting as ever.

Congratulations, Italy! After a rubbish Covid year, their country must be rejoicing. (Not least in having a giant goalkeeper!) And as their manager looked scarily fierce and angry, I think they had to win. Well done.
