Late night

Adam and Tomoko went back to London today, luckily managing to miss most of the crowds heading to Wembley or leaving Wimbledon. The visit has been lovely but too short - looking forward to a longer visit in a few weeks.

We weren’t particularly interested in spending the whole evening watching “the match”, but we ended up turning over just after half time and watched the rest. Those poor penalty takers - I really felt for the ones who missed as that must’ve been more than heartbreaking for them - and I hate to think what their social media will be like this morning. We really have a nasty streak in this country and it makes me very angry.
