On Watch

Today the walkers parked at the Hawea Hotel and walked from there along the southern end of Lake Hawea.  The weather was perfect, with no wind.  BUT the track was very muddy in places, so we had to watch our step.  The extras are (1) Lunch spot  (2)  The view along the track.   We had a welcome cuppa at the hotel before we headed for home.  A beautiful sunny walk.  (17 there today)

This morning I took my car in for a warrant of fitness, but it needs new shock absorbers.  They will be here at the beginning of next week.  It will be good to get that fixed.

I'm off to the Snow Farm tomorrow, as long as the weather is sunny.
