Demon Eyes

Spotted this Pochard duck on Blackford pond. I don't remember seeing one of these here before and I don't think one would forget such a beast after looking into those scary red eyes.
It also kept cocking its head to one side and giving me a funny look or maybe I'm just getting paranoid in my advancing years

Anyway it's not the best shot in the world but it was such a wet, dreich day even the ducks looked soaked and unhappy.
