21 Again Again

I could consider changing to these Instax photos! It was off for the 4th set of celebrations for Ms H's 21st, on a hot humid, sunny and rain threatening day. I think she has meetups still to arrange so it won't be the last.

It was a bit of a dash to drop people off and get back in time to watch the Euro 2000 finals, just as well I taped it, we were 90 minutes late, so all wifi etc was switched off to avoid a breaking news alert. Although 1-1 after 90 + 30 minutes, it felt like Italy had played better overall and I wonder if tossing a coin would have been less stressful than going onto the penalty shoot-out. 

I struggle to imagine what it must be like stepping up to take one, whether being booed by the other teams fans, or knowing if you don't score you could be on the way out, but of course one team had to win and the others were heartbroken, and those that missed will be suffering for some time. Let's hope ALL their supporters help them get over it.
