Detour

The Burren Perfumery was well worth the detour.

A lovely drive over the hill by Carran, bypassing Galway to get to Lettergesh via Cong and Maam. Stunning altogether, and good to be back. I was aiming for lunch at the Misunderstood Heron food truck. We got there a bit later though due to the gravel in my brakes which led to a visit by the recovery van. It all turned out well in the end. However the delay meant the truck had no food left really.
The casual visitors get all the good spots at the campsite, the views are amazing. A couple of extras from the perfumery.
