Spotted

I spotted this lavender on our walk around the block to babysit Lou. I had French lavender in my garden, and I missed it this year. 

I felt a bit blue on this rainy Saturday, but after a walk (that I really didn't want to go on) to a country park in Wokingham, I felt a bit more cheerful. Mum and I went to babysit Lucy for a few hours this evening. She went to bed just fine, after three stories, but she woke after only an hour, crying. I think she just overheated- my sister blocks out all the light with assorted contraptions stuck to almost every window in the house! Unfortunately no air can get in....

Three episodes of Rainbow Ruby and a cuddle and cool-off, and she went back to bed without a fuss. 

We were home just after 10:30pm, and I had a nice bath and then a sneaky slice of pizza!
