DAY 7 - EMBARKING

Wifi on board was rubbish so here are my backblips from the cruise....
Tasty breakfast at Potters Heron...lovely hotel and staff.
Drove to Southampton...gate 4 ... no go to gate 10 for Covid testing ...get lost and frustrated...testing done back to gate 4.
#so relieved to get OK TO BOARD TICKETS....very efficient embarkation
#in our room by 2:30....lovely ...about the same size as the Shabby Shack!!!
# on balcony...no drink yet??? Mainly because we left our mini bar in the car!!!
#bought pass to Retreat zone £60/pp for the whole cruise....on hindsight not sure it was worth it!!
#drink on deck by 4!!! Then trying to finalise ourselves with the various restaurants
# Choice: Pennisula restaurant.....trout with avocado and horseradish, steak and chips, chocolate and orange mousse...mmmmm
#Then onto the magic show .. ”ASTONISHING”...and it was.

#then ended the evening meeting Fiona...part of the entertainment team and O’s friend since he was 1!!! She was so happy to have contact from home as the whole crew after isolating for 3 weeks..are not allowed off the boat until October!!

Great first day
