More Sandcastles

We fit a lot in today!

We started by taking the boat out to fish in the bay.  We caught one small Pollack but put it back, and we saw a seal.

Next CyclopsJnr built a large complex of towers with a moat on the beach.  

After lunch (homemade bread with home roast ham!) we went for a walk, and on the way back we could see the forecast storm approaching - and then hear it!  At the start it was about 40 seconds between the thunder and lightening and by the time we got back to the house it was about 20.  We sat out on the hill behind the house watching it get closer and enjoying the display of forked lightening as the time gap came down to 10 and then 5 seconds, and then almost zero as the rain hit and we retreated inside.
