Calder Valley

SUNDAY

I woke up far too early and spent an hour catching up on the internet before  forcing myself out of the chair and heading out on a 11 km run up to Norland, around the moor to Barkisland and then straight down Saddleworth Road to home. For the last few km I had to contend with an Overgate Hospice mountain bike event going the other way. It was a very hot and humid run - 11.07 km in 1h 5m.

A short 3.5 km walk this afternoon and now cooking dinner ahead of the football.

The blip was taken on my run this morning looking from Norland across the Calder Valley towards Halifax town centre.
