Ice Rink

Saturday and we had yet another early start. G had organised to meet an ex-colleague for coffee and I eventually decided to cancel OaSis. I needed to get on with the captioning so we could meet up with Margaret and Jeff. This time, it was to look at/purchase a laptop for their work.

We chose Dubai Mall for its ease. Starting with coffee at M&S, we ended up spending nearly five hours there. We did have a successful outcome! New laptop purchased, we enjoyed showing off the mall and its various bits - Ice rink*, Waterfall, Fashion Avenue, Aquarium etc. etc. We even stopped at Guylian Chocolate Bar when it came to crunch time on which laptop to go home.

We were back in the flat before 7 giving me enough time to finish my work, but it's been yet another weekend with no ironing done!

* Oh to have spare cash to get some lessons :)
