Clever Little Buff-Tip Moth

I was doing some general tidying up and cutting back in the garden and was about to brush a twig off a leaf when I realised it had legs. I did a search for 'twig like moth' and hey presto.

It is so easy to miss this clever little moth. It is a master of disguise, blending in perfectly as it looks just like the twig of a birch tree!

I had quite a few goes at trying to get his best angle. I was nearly there, just wanted a bit more of his face, but when I went back to try again he had gone.
