Toys Of Yester Year

Out for my usual Sunday morning wander to the bakery, I chanced on old Dobbin here.

When I was small I had a rocking horse.  Not as fine as this one.  Mine was made out of  metal and had no "fur".  He was called Chingachgook - I have a vague memory of watching the tv series of The Last Of The Mohicans and my rocking horse made a noise that sounded a lot like Chingachgook.  It seemed obvious to me.

I hope this one was called Hatatitla.

That will mean nothing to any of you who never heard of Karl May and his tales involving Old Shatterhand & Winnetou.
