To mark the 40th anniversary, her iconoclastic album Big Science has been reissued!
Byron has used some of the profits from his show at The Uckfield Contemporary to buy a copy, and this morning it was delivered by Amazon.
It's pressed in red vinyl, and apparently there are one or two pressing errors on all the red vinyl copies, but Byron was philosophical about its imperfections.
'As the late John Peel once said,' he remarked, '"Life is full of crackles" – and of course I've already got a perfect copy on CD for when I want to listen to it – this copy is really just for looking at!'
Wilson was a bit miffed, thinking that it would have been better if Byron's earnings had been used to start a 'Let's Buy A Quad Bike' fund…
