The fly

Good to see lots of bees on the flowers in the 'yard. Went out with the camera, but they were all buzzing round far too fast and furiously to capture a decent shot. However, this little fly on a meadow cranesbill flower was going nowhere fast!

I was buzzing round today too, tackling all sorts of little tasks  - cleaning, mending, a bit more essential shopping, admin., and making lists - most of them in preparation for our holiday. Maybe it's an age thing - list have suddenly become very important in planning anything
Meanwhile, MrM went fishing in Alwinton. Still waiting for fresh trout...
