Talking to a friend about Wimbledon.

Some years ago, a dear fried, Marian Seldes was on Broadway in a play about 2 former tennis partners, called “Deuce” . Angela Lansbury being her partner. All the tennis players came along to see it, and Marian got this autograph for me.

The last few days have been totally taken up with helping to get my friend’s apartment in a fit state for her to come out of hospital. Old bed had to go and be replaced with hospital bed, and 24 hour care.
She is now home with her beloved cat.
