Forster's Tern

Tropical Storm Elsa blew through during the night bringing winds and driving rain that continued until mid-morning.  This was followed by the most beautiful sunny breezy day.  After our little guy woke from his nap, we took a drive to Jones Beach and had a long leisurely late-afternoon walk on the boardwalk.  The beach was fairly deserted which is quite unusual for the summer and red flags were up for swimmers because of the rough surf after Elsa. 

I did not bring my big lens on this trip, so this bird in flight was taken with a 28-200 lens.  

There were 90 fabulous entries for Tiny Tuesday this week, so deciding on my favorites was quite difficult.  I have gone back and forth on this for several days and have finally settled on the following entries and will be dropping off hearts for them.
