Fun with alpacas

We went to Ruth's today to spend some time feeding and petting the alpacas. They were very sociable and Noelle was very adventurous with them. Ainsley didn't want to feed them but did stroke Eric, the baby born last year, and in the extra photo. His coat is still very soft and his head quite fluffy. The baby belongs to the one being fed and is just 4 days old. Noelle wasn't in the least frightened of them and had a wonderful time. Ainsley was much more cautious than her little sister. Ruth made us all welcome and have us lots of information. She has them sheared and uses the wool to spin and then knit.
