Saturday ......
Far too much in this collage but it's of our day and where we have walked.
So in here are views of Dulwich College, now an independent boys school, founded in 1619 by the Elizabethan actor Edward Alleyn with the original purpose of educating 12 poor scholars. A full boarder will now pay fees of £42,000 per annum! A wonderful building though. Also here are Logi Baird's one time home, Horniman Gardens, Kingswood House, once home of the man who invented Bovril, John Lawson Johnston, and which later became a library and a community centre and was where my youngest sister had a Saturday job. Finally the house where D began saving for his first car by having a gardening job.
We've walked through woods, parks and beautiful gardens and I've especially enjoyed wonderful architecture.
It hasn't rained and we've had a lovely day and a long walk. I'm sure my knees will get over it.
(My grammar and sentences here are terrible!!)
