Solace Day 1

Well, in spite of all the difficulties with The Mother's health over the past few weeks, here we are in Staffordshire. The four of us with Ash The Dog!

We were just about ready at 3pm to get the narrowboat under way when one voice asked "Shall I start her up?" to which another voice replied "It would be better if you untied the rope at your end!"

So, moored for the night after just a short journey from the marina, That Mate of mine picked up my camera and said "I'm gonna get you the best shot of the day!"

Well it was either one OF him or this one taken BY him! So I didn't even correct the white ballance, I quite liked the effect.
