Marathon

Lots of driving today first to Ewell to pick up my mended sewing machine and then on to Chatham dockyard for lunch. We had free tickets so had a wander round going on deck of the Gannet, a sloop, and all round a WW2 destroyer. However Call the Midwife filming takes place here among the tall C18th brick buildings and this is obviously the resultant tour - fans and probably patient husbands. Note the guide's uniform. We were enjoying the Commissioner's garden which is also a wedding venue.
