Flowers from the garden…

Second posting of the day, but at least this means I’ve actually caught up at last - though I still have a way to go before I catch up with comments I’m afraid. 

Gathering flowers from a garden where everything has  grown dramatically since we left has probably been the most rewarding activity today, and it’s wonderful to have the fragrance of roses, jasmine and sweet peas permeating through the house. 

Less attractive has been the inevitable unpacking and washing - all with the added delight of finding out last night that our boiler isn’t working, so we’ve been without hot water. Fortunately, the engineer has been so things are looking up!
