Houton Bay

An enjoyable cycle today from Kirkwall to Houton, ferry to Lyness on Hoy (though locals refer to only the north of the island as Hoy!), then cycle to the lighthouse on Cantick Head, and back obviously. It is an ebike so not the trek you might think, about 73km. This boat is often moored in the bay and I liked the wake from the ferry breaking up the surface of the water. It has been grey for days- we need some sunshine.
