Grey Heron

The young one flew straight over this morning and landed in the midst of the greylags. One of them had a half hearted go at her but she just walked into the water. I then threw her fish over the greylags into the water where she got it all.  
A couple who were walking their dog held back a bit on the path and watched until I had finished feeding her. I suppose I am used to it now but not many people will see a heron flying towards someone and not away from them.
