Radiant

A bright spot on an otherwise shadowy evening. Daylilies only seem to last a day (maybe that's why they are so called) and if there's one thing I've learned about photography, it's to seize the day.

Using the zoom burst technique added an extra glow and focus on the single bloom, which might otherwise have seemed rather lonely. I tried a few times at various speeds, both zooming in and out, and the results sometimes felt like a happy accident.
