The little cherry tree

We planted a miniature Cherry Tree at the small country church on the island where our father was born. He is now buried there. I found this nicely shaped medium rock in WV on a rock shopping trip. I have started carving it and plan to put it at the base of the tree when I'm finished in hopes that he will not be forgotten.
We got 5" of rain yesterday and a high tide which was not in the forecast. The garden faired ok. Most sunflowers were blown down but I have straightened them up. There is standing water and it is raining again. All in all ELSA was very kind to us and we are grateful!
