.but how bad, I forgot to look at the leaves, so I might be wrong ;(

This afternoon I went up to Morn Hill to blip butterflies, but although it was beautifully sunny, and I saw more butterflies than have come my way the rest of summer, it was also very windy, which meant none of them were settling.  They were anyway mostly browns and marbled whites, so I switched course and blipped wildflowers instead.  Those were quite glorious.  I saw more pyramidal orchids than I've ever seen in one place, and so many other flowers, some of which were strangers to me.  When it is not windy | shall have to spend a day up there.

Nothing much else to report.  Gardening.  And treated K and me to a takeaway pizza tonight, just because..

Am tagging this not just for WildflowerWeek but also for FlowerFriday.  Why not?  And very many thanks to Bikerbear for hosting the latter.

Hope your day is/has been a good one.  Have a great weekend  xx
