I took an aerial photograph of St Bridgets Church, Bridstow, Nr Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) a couple of days ago. Wandering inside, the stain glass memorial window to Captain Ramsay Cox caught my eye; so I returned today to photograph it as it's colourful and I've had two days of black and white photo's!

The words at the bottom read:
"To The Glory of GOD and In Memory of Capt. Ramsay COX - Worcester Regiment - Killed in action Neuve Chapelle, France March 12 1915"

On line research shows his full name as John Ramsay Cox with a photograph and burial place. Further information on him here

Neuve Chapelle (10 to 12 March 1915) was a battle fought during WW1 and a planned attack on a German trench system on the Western Front.
