Sweet Cherries Along the Trail

We walked the eastern end of the Crown Zellerbach Trail just outside of Scappoose, on a dike along the Multnomah Channel, across from Sauvie Island. From the dike you can see either parts of the Channel or lots of farmland growing nursery stock. Not a bit of food being farmed, which is so bizarre,  but there were some old Sweet Cherry trees along the edge. Beautiful.
