Eventful journey to Ed as train from Nottingham to Newark was cancelled. Very helpful stationstafffound me and alternative route via Sheffield and Newcastle to arrive at the same time. Unfortunately train manager from Sheffield wouldn’t accept my ticket so had to buy another one and change atYork. Only had 5 mins but made it. D met me and we went up to Dundee, stoppingfor tea and cake in Newport and a walk along the beach before a delicious dinner at The Newport. This was the view from the window/ beautiful and a delicious dinner
