Caught in the Act

You might remember a week or so ago that I had discovered that my sunflower leaves were being eaten by Lesser Goldfinches, who apparently have a passion for eating them. I have always thought that slugs or snails or even something like a beetle was eating them. Then I saw a goldfinch nibbling away one day. And this afternoon, there it was! Caught in the proverbial act. But it doesn't bother me now that I know that it's birds and not something miserable.
