A walk in the park

As my birthday treat both kids came up Snowdon with me today. This one is the highest mountain in Wales but seemed a lot less strenuous than Cadair Idris which I did last week.
We spent a great time together, lots of good banter, and no complaints about ‘when are we there, I’m tired, what is the point of this’, it seems they are now of an age that they know you climb a mountain to look back down again! Just because it’s fun. No promises of ice cream at the top or stories of the troll needed any more, which is how I had to entice them on walks when they were little! But we had ice cream anyway, never too old for that!!
