Cistus Florentinus

I was around at a friend's house today giving their fence a wee spruce up when I spotted these cracking colours in this flower....

For those with a horticulture mind its Latin name is "Cistus Florentinus", commonly known as a rock rose. An evergreen shrub that does well in seaside gardens.

Well the house that I was at was close enough to the water and so I think this plant will thrive!!
