Sightline

After another bout of rough strimming, finally managed to be able to see the length of the allotment, right up to the weeds in the back border. But at least I can see the sweet peas and through to the second rustic bean teepee. Ooh, that's a courgette flowering vigorously in the foreground. Picked peas (which I later ate), broad beans and strawberries.

Made a quiche, with a new pastry recipe that I've never tried before. Flour, olive oil and white wine. Works a treat.

Meeting in the evening with local Green chums. Will I be able to stay awake long enough to hear Mr Michael Spicer at 11 pm? Probably not.
