The morning was spent at Brockholes , bird and wildlife centre with LBB.
He really enjoyed running along paths edged with tall grasses, twice his height and sliding down muddy slopes, playing hide and seek. We are going to spend a family day here to celebrate our Ruby wedding and today we found the perfect picnic spot. A small , well hidden walled area with stone benches set in  where the little ones can run around to their hearts content [ but not escape ] while the adults can sit comfortably . There is also a view of one of the main lakes so we can keep our eye on the bird life too.  
The afternoon was spent on various engineering projects involving an old water pipe , bits of wood from the shed and a variety of trains and trucks. 
The daisies are our reward for not mowing the grass, who knew they were there ?
We have an appointment on Sunday morning to view the camper van /motor home . We have found out the model but haven't managed to find any images , lets hope its a pleasant surprise !  
P.S : The flowers in the photo are not those from the garden after all , similar but these were growing in a field and are slightly bigger . I think my garden  flowers are  Feverfew and are a smaller version of these lovelies.
