Summit of Dumyat at the western extremely of the Ochil Hills this morning.
In front is a memorial to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders regiment, with beyond the River Forth twisting it's way past the whisky bonds to the North Sea
Been up here many times and only discovered today that the name of the hill is thought to originate from Dun ( hill fort ) of the Maeatae, a tribe that lived beyond the Roman Antonine Wall.
