Lock 19 on the Forth & Clyde Canal.

It wasn’t until much later that I spotted the heron standing on the lock gate!
We had a good wander along the canal early this morning before it got too warm. Even so Chloe was quite puggled by the time we returned home.
Lunch was a picnic in the car at Culross. It was by then quite warm so we didn’t walk but just came home and pottered about the garden while Chloe stayed in the shade.
Currently waiting for the rush hour traffic to subside and we can venture out again.
