Dragonfly Up Close

Busy day yesterday with eye tests and shower remodel going on plus historic England victory, though had to feel a little sorry for the Danes after the soft penalty compounded by the rather lucky rebound - deserved win on balance but I think Italy will be a sterner test. On top of that started the somewhat involved task of acquainting myself with the thousands of features available on the new camera which arrived. Early days yet in understanding all the best settings but had this interesting subject to practice zoom and focusing - we have multiple dragonflies in our garden with the 2 ponds inviting their reproductive cycle at this time of the year. This close up wasn’t a bad start and very happy so far with the camera offering a great balance between convenience, size and options.
