Flight Check

Up to the airfield for a coffee and to see if there were any planes on view. I was in luck because close by the café was this Spitfire being prepped for a joy ride. What a beautiful machine and when it took off the Merlin engine sounded just wonderful.

The lucky passenger in the back was going to get a magnificent ride, although I'm not sure how much I would fancy being in his seat when it did a barrel roll.
