2384. Flight home

We’ve had a glorious few days in Bournemouth and on the flight home now. Only one flight leaving this airport today so it’s eerily quiet.

Had a quick phone call from my friend who’s hubby is no longer in partial remission and not doing well. It’s heartbreaking to hear that after over 20 years fighting two different cancers, he is finally losing what has been a valiant battle.

He is a truly remarkable man, a former Royal Marine and highly decorated hero…as I said to her today some souls leave a permanent mark on so many lives…
