Day 74 of 365 - The Wall of Fame!

Welcome to day 74 of 365 (this is the finished image after editing).

The original photo was taken this morning outside the Youth Centre in Tile Hill. This is only part of a larger piece of Wall Art that takes up the whole wall of the building. I was there with my Daughter who was auditioning in a Talent contest for our side of Coventry. The song she sung was a cover of Viva La Vida by Coldplay. We found out early this evening that she Won a place in the Final of the Talent contest which will take place in April. We are so proud that she got through to the Final. One of the prizes the winner will get is a guest appearance at the Godiva Festival held in Coventry in July. The chance to sing in front of Thousands of people at the largest Free family festival in the UK.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the the iPhone camera App Huemore. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used the Color Burst filter in PhotoToaster take away the edge colour of the image and give the picture a rounded edge border. Next I used a New App called Repix to paint on some edge highlights using the Dotter Brush and some small light flares using the Flare Brush. I also the same App to adjust the Contrast, Saturation and Vibrance of the picture. Finally I finished off the picture using the App TangledFX to boost the overall image tone.
