Wild Flower Area

We had a late walk in the local park, waiting half an hour after the heavens opened but a useful weather app on my phone was telling me that it would end in 20 minutes.

The wild flower area we'd previously seen is now in summer mode.  I have to say it is a brilliant idea.  You buy mats of the plants and just lay them in a cultivated area.  They have been producing flowers from March time onwards. It's going to be interesting if they continue to give colour right through to the autumn.

Of course, glued to the TV from 8 pm.  Not quite as comfortable as Saturday, but it had the feeling that England were in the ascendancy from the second half.  Perhaps the Danes started to fatigue towards the end.  They really have been on a crazy emotional roller coaster during the tournament.  It isn't just physical fitness that counts.
