Catching up with old friends

On the agenda today was meeting up with friend Jasmine (from Hong Kong days) and her kids. Jax, second son, is our godson. They moved up to the Sunshine Coast last December, unbelievable!!! We are now quite close to them and can see them more often. Just amazing.

We met at what used to be called Underwater World but is now called Sea Life, in Mooloolaba. Lovely time with all the kids and glad we got this photo of us in this jaw of a real shark!!!

We then had lunch at an old family favourite seafood restaurant of ours, which we’ve been going to for yeeeaaers, on The Spit, but the food was nowhere like what it used to be. Very disappointing indeed.

The kids didn’t want to say goodbye to us when it was time to leave, and begged us to go home with them, and so we did for a bit. I was able to catch up with Jasmine even more while Jon and Ben hung out with all the kids.

Andrew had joined us for lunch as well, so we got to see him too.

After dinner we really enjoyed the Wallabies vs France rugby game, which was nail biting to the end. Thankfully the Wallabies only just scraped through!
