Crown Range
I had an appointment in Queenstown today, so Jill drove Frida and I over the Crown Range. It is the highest through road in NZ- so often has snow. It is very well cared for by the road gangs, so well gritted and not a problem today. It does often have to be closed- and we always carry chains for the car.
This afternoon we had a lovely walk around the Kelvin Heights Sculpture trail, which also skirts the golf course.
Good to be home in time to prepare dinner. Hope to look at some of your photos tonight.
The main photo was taken at the top of the Crown Range, looking towards Queenstown
Extras-
1. Driving down the Crown Range road towards Queenstown (I was NOT driving!)
2. The Kelvin Peninsula Goats
