Poppies

Lots going on at the moment. Which isn’t a bad thing but just a shock to the system. The plumber arrived and sorted out our overflow problem in about thirty minutes. Managed to get him to give me a quote for further work - although he won’t be as quick with the next tasks.

Got Jet out for a walk and enjoyed lots of colour with both gardens and wildflowers. This Poppy was putting on a fine show by the entrance to a driveway.

We then had a company to quote for some lime pointing and replacement of some of the stone. Two knowledgeable men who were fascinated by the history of the house. One from South Africa had never encountered an outside meat store before.

Then eldest asked if he could come and spend a couple of nights with us which coincides with the youngest coming home. Will be good to have the house busy for a few days.
