The sentry

Day two of our wee Highland break saw us visiting Ardesier, Fort George ( with avian sentry) , Culloden and the shores of Loch Ness.
Of these, Culloden certainly made the biggest impression and the visitor centre experience was both informative and very moving. The battle must have been horrendous. Nowadays I don’t think we can comprehend how these soldiers suffered.
