Another sunny day

I just managed to capture the heron in the middle of a contretemps with a seagull who was swooping down for no apparent reason. I haven’t seen the heron in this spot before and it was a convenient one because I could get quite close without him/ her noticing me. I was puzzled about the almost black background until I realised it was the intense colour of the  White Cart Water in shade.
 
The most remarkable thing about today was that I wore a dress, the first time in ages, and very comfortable it was too. Another yoga session this afternoon followed by pool swimming, almost empty and very relaxing post yoga when I didn’t feel the need to swim as far and as fast possible in the half hour time slot.
