Miniature moments

The natural world carries on in its own sweet way as momentous matters in the football world wait to be decided. It’s only a little bumblebee, but it must look like a giant to the tiny beetle doing whatever it is beetles do in a bramble flower.
Extra is a patch of land that the council maintained as a formal flower bed until a couple of years ago, but has now been seeded with wild flowers. What a joy to see the poppies.
