Pretty garden

As we drove through Surrey and Hampshire this morning it was good to see the verges still full of wild flowers. It will soon be time to mow them, but meanwhile we can enjoy the interesting variety. We were driving to spend the day with Marie who is the widow of one of N’s youth club friends. Her husband died nearly thirty years ago but we like to keep in touch. We went out to lunch at her favourite local pub and enjoyed catching up with all her news. We went back to her house afterwards for a cup of tea and enjoyed seeing her lovely garden. It is full of colour and interest.
