Curly

Sent this pic to my friend Rachel, who's beautiful daughter Hannah has the most lovely curly blonde hair.

I have poker-straight hair, and cannot begin to calculate the amount of money I have spent on hair products and tools to give it even the merest hint of a wave, none of which work for more than quarter of an hour and never if there is even a drop of moisture in the air.

In retrospect, I'm surprised I never had a perm, but perhaps I am too scarred my mothers 1970 hair-do's to risk it.
